Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is based on the credits completed at LIM College, plus any accepted transfer credits, accumulated by the end of any given semester and the attainment of the minimum cumulative GPA (Grade Point Average) indicated below. All students’ records are reviewed at the end of each semester. Students who fail to make SAP are placed on academic probation.

A student placed on academic probation for two consecutive semesters must satisfy all the terms of probation by the end of the subsequent (third) semester. Any student who has not returned to good academic standing as described herein is subject to dismissal from LIM College. In the event a student is academically dismissed from the College, he/she may petition in writing to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to return for a semester on Conditional Academic Probation.
