FASH 267 - The Secret World of Scent

The various fragrance categories from florals to the latest aroma-chemicals, history of the fragrance industry from ancient times to the present celebrity fragrance phenomenon, and how to create a personal fragrance profile will be studied. The art of the perfumer and how they use their creativity to develop new “scentsations” will also be explored. The course final project will be the in class creation of your own personal fragrance. (offered in Spring only)
