Please note: Students are required to have a GPA of 3.00 or higher and must be at sophomore level or above in order to be eligible to participate

 

Cross-Cultural Analysis
Students travel abroad during Winter Intersession to several European cities, studying the fashion, culture, and history of the chosen area. Students have the option of taking the course for credit or as a non-credit course.

 

Fashion, Business and Culture of China
Students spend three weeks traveling in several cities in China, visiting fashion, cultural and historic sites. This program takes place during the summer semester. Students have the option of taking the course for credit or as a non-credit course.

 

 

Summer Study Abroad Programs

 

Please note: Students are required to have a GPA of 3.00 in order to be eligible to participate. Students must earn the equivalent of a C or higher in their courses abroad for the credits to be accepted at LIM College.

 

American University of Rome
Students at sophomore level or above are eligible to study at the American University of Rome during the summer semester. Students can participate in a 4 or 8 week program, earning 6 or 12 credits respectively. Credits are typically liberal arts electives.

 

French Fashion Analysis
Students at sophomore level or above are eligible to spend two weeks studying in Paris at Mod’Art, a French fashion institution. This program takes place during the summer semester and students typically earn 3 credits.

 

 

Full Semester Exchange Programs

 

Please note: Students are required to have a GPA of 3.00 or higher in order to be eligible to participate and must be at junior level or above at the time of exchange. Students must earn the equivalent of a C or higher in their courses abroad for the credits to be accepted at LIM College. Students must be registered for the equivalent of a full-time course load at all times while abroad.

American University of Rome
Students spend a semester at the American University of Rome (AUR), in Rome, Italy, taking business, management, marketing or elective courses. At AUR, students complete one semester’s worth of courses either in the fall (September through December), or spring (January through May).

London College of Fashion
Students spend a three month term at the London College of Fashion (LCF) in London, England. Students complete one semester’s worth of courses, 12 credits, either in the fall (September through November) or the spring (January through March).  This condensed program requires a high level of independent study.

 

Pole ESG
Students spend a semester at the Pole ESG - Paris School of Business in Paris, France, taking business, management, marketing or elective courses. At Pole ESG, students complete one semester’s worth of courses either in the fall (September through December), or spring (January through June).

Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Exchange Program
Students spend a semester at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Melbourne, Australia, taking business, fashion or elective courses. At RMIT, students complete one semester’s worth of courses either in the fall (July through November), or spring (March through June).

Suffolk University in Madrid
Students spend a semester at Suffolk University’s Madrid, Spain campus, taking business or elective courses.  Students have the opportunity to complete an internship as well.  At Suffolk’s Madrid campus, students complete one semester’s worth of courses either in the fall (late August through December), or spring (early January through April).

University of Westminster Exchange Program
During the spring semester, students study in the Fashion Merchandise Management Program at the University of Westminster in London, England. Students complete one semester’s worth of courses, which often includes an internship.
