MNGT 317 - Advanced Buying and Planning


Students will obtain a thorough understanding of the financial buying and planning processes and their impact on the retailer’s performance. Using simulations and real world examples, students will be involved in sales planning, classification and inventory planning, the open-to-buy process, mark-up pricing and markdown strategies, and promotional planning.
