WORK 220 - Career Pathing Internship

The primary focus of the Career Pathing Internship is to provide students with an opportunity to develop their professional objectives more fully. Students will explore how their chosen academic major and professional objectives intersect by completing an internship directed at applying management knowledge and skills in a professional environment in their chosen field. Students will maintain a journal which will provide a foundation for a written report. In addition to the written report, students will participate in an exit interview and explore how the internship experience helped them better understand how their personal interests and academic experiences complement their professional objectives. Students will be required to complete a total of 150 hours on the worksite and should expect to dedicate approximately 10 hours per week to their internship.
