WORK 120 - Industry Exploration Internship

The Industry Exploration Internship is an opportunity for students to develop a deeper understanding of the fashion industry through an applied learning experience. The primary focus of this internship is to provide students the opportunity to see how the fashion industry works at the point where the brand meets the customer. While this is most commonly found in the retail sales environment, internships in other areas that meet the same basic requirements may be acceptable. Students will be required to complete a total of 150 hours at the worksite and should therefore expect to dedicate approximately 10 hours per week to this internship. At the end of their internship, students will participate in an exit interview process and submit a written summary of their experience outlining how they gained deeper insights into the fashion industry.
