The course will cover key aspects of global trade through the lens of the fashion industry identifying the impact of trade agreements on fashion commerce, the role of tariffs and quotas, the legal regulatory frameworks governing import/export transactions, and maintaining compliance to global requirements. Additionally, the course will explore the broader context of international fashion trade, including trends, culture, and industry dynamics. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and hands-on projects, students will gain a deeper practical understanding of cross-border transactions in the fashion industry.
