MPSC 666 - The Cannabis Supply Chain

A cannabis supply chain is made up of six key stages, including: cultivation, testing, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and retail. In this course, students will research and analyze the various stages within the seed to sale process. Together we will look at how cannabis products are created and how they move through the cannabis supply chain. Within the scope of the course, we will look at raw materials, production, creating inventory, logistics, information systems, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, retail, an overview of regulations, all while understanding how the cannabis supply chain creates value for the consumer.
