CANN 1560 - Introduction to the Cannabis Industry

In this course we will look at the recreational cannabis industry; its growth, and its connections to the fashion and related industries. Students will discover the history and current merchandising, marketing, and commerce strategies of cannabis/hemp. Regulatory issues and supply chain operations will generate buzz but introduce students to the many career opportunities that abound. Recreational cannabis/hemp will be the focus-not its use in fabrications.
