CARE 4800 - Senior Co-op Prep: Launching Your CareerCareer & Internship Services Department By their senior year, students have already had several career education opportunities through their internships and are ready to emulate a full-time work experience through their Senior Coop. Before doing so, students must take this course in the semester prior to their co-operative education experience.
Students will revisit topics introduced in Designing Your Career to recognize the change and growth that has occurred, in particular how they’ve developed their career readiness competencies and their unique talents and strengths. They will also create more nuanced, detailed, and long-term career plans. They will be able to demonstrate their advanced understanding of and ability to utilize job search skills and strategies that will be the foundation for successfully seeking out and evaluating potential co-op opportunities and future professional endeavors after graduation. credit(s): 1 Prerequisite(s): CARE 1300, CARE 1620
