FASH 1210H - Honors Retailing: Global and OmniFashion Merchandising & Marketing Department This course will explore Retailing in a global, omni-channel environment, with particular emphasis on how business will change and transform. Students will be introduced to traditional Retailing functions, including merchandise management, store layout and the importance of the supply chain. Emerging topics such as the growth of Amazon, the relevance of Sustainable practices and the role of technology will also be evaluated. Learning will be enhanced by industry speakers within the Retail industry and through visits to experiential stores/e-commerce sites. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): Enrollment in the Fashion Scholars Program or by permission of the Department Chair
