FASH 2215 - AccessoriesFashion Merchandising & Marketing Department In this course, the business of fashion accessories will be explored. Students will be introduced to the functions within the accessories marketplace which include design, product development, merchandising and marketing practices. Using inspiration and forecasting tools, students will look at the evolving trends in the market. By examining the accessory market and its current distribution channels, students will begin to identify new ways to drive a brand’s traffic in-store, on social media and other platforms. Students will identify a new market opportunity, conceptualize product or accessory collaborations, and propose a new product idea. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): FASH 1110
