FASH 3515 - Advanced Buying and Planning for Fashion BuyersFashion Merchandising & Marketing Department Hands on class where students act as buyers and planners in order to develop and complete a six-month plan, classification and assortment plans for a given department. Students will work on developing a sales, markdown, inventory and receipt plan to achieve goals set. “What if?” real-world results will be hypothesized and students will have to react to “real-time” results and will need to reproject future months based on sales trends provided to them. Classification and Assortment plans will be developed for the upcoming season prior to ‘going to market’. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): FASH 1110, FASH 1210, FASH 2560, TECH 1310
