FASH 3318 - Advanced Sustainable Practices in Fashion Fashion Merchandising & Marketing Department This course aims at enhancing students’ understanding, capacity and skills at applying sustainable principles, processes, methodologies, and reporting practices. Students will work as green teams for a fashion company and investigate and research environmental, social, and sustainability topics with an emphasis on measuring, assessing, and minimizing environmental impacts of product supply chains and creating a relevant action plan for an existing brand. Students will further develop systems thinking practices and become adept at current sustainability platforms, so they are prepared to enter this expanding field and be ready to join sustainability teams at fashion and related businesses. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): FASH 1110, FASH 2612
