|
High school students submitted academic credentials will be evaluated to determine eligibility |

Awards of $6,000 - $12,000 based on H.S. academic credentials. Awards renewable for up to four academic years, provided you maintain satisfactory academic progress and full-time enrollment. |

Academic credentials are evaluated upon acceptance to LIM College. |
Adrian G. Marcuse Presidential Scholarship |
|
A student who entered the College as a first-year, first-semester freshman and who will be a graduating senior year in the upcoming academic year. Based on merit and exceptional academic credentials (GPA of 3.50 or above). |
|
One full-tuition scholarship for fall and spring (less any other tuition-specific awards). |
|
Final candidates will be interviewed by the President of the College. Applications available Spring 2023. |
Alan Feigenbaum Scholarship
Established in honor of the late LIM College Mathematics Professor Alan Feigenbaum |

Current LIM College student entering the third year with a cumulative 3.00 GPA or better. Must have completed first two years at LIM College including both Introduction to Statistics (or Introduction to Statistics with Essentials) and Applied Data Analysis with a B or better. Financial need not a requirement. |

Award of $2,500 per year. Non-renewable. |

Submit a separate 500-
word essay on “The Creative Application of Mathematics” in Management, Marketing, Merchandising or Visual Studies along with your scholarship application. Applications available Spring 2023. |
Leah Ryan Scholarship
Established in honor of the late Professor Ryan for her devotion to teaching LIM College students who struggle to write well and persist in doing so |

Current LIM College student with a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher. Must have passed Essentials of Composition (ENGL 0795) and earned a B or better in English Composition with Essentials (ENGL 1095). |

LIM College Academic Scholarship |
|
Current LIM College students who have completed 30 credits and have a GPA of 3.80 or higher. |

LIM Business Leadership Scholarship |
|
Current LIM College students who are in leadership roles in LIM College clubs or organizations. |
|
Limited number of awards of $3,000 per year. |

Letter of recommendation from appropriate club advisor. Application available Spring 2023. |
LIM/New York BOCES Scholarship |
|
High school students who have graduated from a New York State BOCES Fashion Merchandising program with an 80 average (3.00) or higher in the fashion program. |
|
Limited number of awards of $3,000 per year. Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher for renewal. |

LIM College Sibling Tuition Award |
|
Siblings who are concurrently enrolled at LIM College or a student who has a sibling who previously attended LIM College and graduated. |
|
25% of tuition charges, not to exceed the full cost of tuition in conjunction with all other tuition-specific awards. This award is only available to matriculated undergraduate students enrolled either full-time or part-time with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and in good academic standing. |
|
Complete the LIM College Sibling Award Application in the Office of Student Financial Services to establish eligibility by no later than the eighth week of the semester. |
LIM College Junior Grant Transfer Scholarships |
|
Incoming graduates of a two-year college with an earned associate degree will have their academic credentials evaluated to determine eligibility. |
|
Awards ranging from $3,000 to $8,000 per year based on college GPA. Awards renewable for up to two academic years, provided that you maintain satisfactory academic progress and full-time enrollment. |
|
Transcripts are evaluated upon acceptance to LIM College. |
LIM Visual Studies Scholarship |
|
Entering students who have declared a Visual Studies (VIST) major. |
|
Limited number of awards of $1,000 each. Must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 for renewal and enrollment as a VIST major. |
|
A select group of students will be nominated by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for consideration. |
Maxwell F. Marcuse Founders Scholarship |
|
A student who entered the College as a first-year, first-semester freshman who will be a graduating senior year in the upcoming academic year. Based on merit and exceptional academic credentials (GPA of 3.50 or above).

|
One half-tuition scholarship for fall and spring (to not exceed 100% of tuition in combination with any other tuition-specific awards). |
|

Transfer Academic Achievement Scholarship |
|
Transfer students with at least 15 approved transfer credits and a cumulative college GPA of 3.00 or higher. |
|
Awards of $2,000 - $7,000 based on college GPA. Awards renewable for up to four academic years, provided that you maintain satisfactory academic progress and full-time enrollment. |
|

Student must show an above-average amount of talent and have an interest in pursuing a retail career as a visual merchandiser. Must also have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 after attending at least one semester at LIM College. Need also a factor |

Incoming graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) with an associate degree. Based on merit, exceptional academic credentials (GPA of 3.30 or higher) and need. |

Mildred Marcuse Scholarship |

Entering associate degree candidate with at least a B average in high school. Need and ability. |

Ron Knoth Scholarship
Established in honor of the late Professor Knoth for his creativity, uniqueness, and kind, unassuming devotion to LIM College students. |

Mario Abela Scholarship Established in honor of long-time staff member Mario Abela for his more than 35 years of service to the College and our students. |

Current LIM College student who is the first in their family to attend college and was born (or has a parent who was born) outside of the U.S. Must also have worked while in high school and continue to work part-time while enrolled at LIM College to help with educational expenses. Need and ability. |

Established in honor of LIM College’s second president in recognition of the profound impact he had in bettering the lives of countless students and of his unwavering leadership and vision in advancing the College to new heights for over 40 years.

Current LIM College student entering Sophomore or Junior year with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better. Significant financial need as demonstrated by Federal Pell Grant and/or New York State TAP Grant eligibility. |

Unless otherwise specified, LIM College and LIM Fashion Education Foundation scholarships and grants may only be applied to the undergraduate on-campus full-time flat-rate tuition for the fall and spring semesters at LIM College. All scholarships are awarded on a funds-available basis and LIM College or the LIM Fashion Education Foundation reserves the right to make adjustments to these awards.
