FASH 2615 - Fashion Scholarship Foundation Case Study and Special Topics in Retailing

Fashion Merchandising
Students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher are invited to apply to participate in this course. Applicants must attend an information session and submit an essay for review. Students who are selected for the course will then compete for a $5,000 Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) award by completing a case study provided by the FSF that deals with a current industry issue. The case study will be judged by executives in the retail industry, based on criteria specified by the FSF. Once the case is submitted, the course will focus on current event topics in retailing today and the impact on the industry and the case. This course is open to second-semester freshmen, sophomores and juniors.
