BUSN 2516 - Freelancing and the Gig Economy Marketing, Management & Finance In an increasingly digital and virtual workplace, freelance work is in high demand in certain industries. This course, taught by experienced freelancers, guides students on how to find freelance work and navigate the gig economy. Topics include responding to RFPs, writing contracts, setting rates, getting paid, budgeting, intellectual property, taxes, and legal issues, creating an online presence, juggling multiple projects and clients, and networking and pooling your contacts.
