MRKT 1550H - Honors Marketing Marketing, Management & Finance Students are introduced to core marketing activities including market segmentation, market research, consumer behavior, product strategy, pricing, promotion and distribution. Principles, policies and practices used by manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers are covered. The factors of consumer behavior and motivation are analyzed to provide an understanding of market planning. The system of distribution of goods from the producer to the consumer will also be discussed. Computer simulations may be used to facilitate understanding the core marketing activities involved in business. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): Enrollment in the Fashion Scholars Program or by permission of the Department Chair
