Organized by regions around the globe, this course analyzes the various cross-cultural issues that HR professionals face as they select, maintain and develop a quality, global workforce. Students gain an understanding of home and host countries, global assignments, expatriates, repatriation, local employment law, labor issues, unions, benefits and compensation, privacy and data protection, European Union directives and regulations, equality, and ethics.
