This course is designed for students pursuing the Bachelor of Science degree in International Business. We live in a world of intensifying global relationships, one in which international business has become the key determinant of economic development and prosperity. This course focuses on the opportunities and challenges created by globalization. The course is designed to give students a fundamental understanding of the environment in which international business operates and of the business practices required to successfully compete in global markets. It examines cross-cultural and management issues related to operating in an international marketplace. The aim of this course is to enable students to better analyze and understand the opportunities and challenges that companies face when expanding their activities internationally and when dealing with international competitors in their home markets.
