Field trips are an integral part of the LIM College curriculum. They are an introduction to the resources of the New York metropolitan area and an invaluable experience both culturally and professionally. Students visit companies and museums in the fields of publishing, manufacturing, retailing, wholesale distribution, marketing, business, home furnishings, and art. Field trips are carefully selected and varied, and the course has been designed to give students a cross section of experiences and an awareness of career opportunities in the field of merchandising. Successful attendance is required for graduation.
