VMER 3610 - Product PresentationVisual Merchandising Previous Course Number: VMER 330
This course offers an analysis of current presentation practices, theories and techniques. Coursework deals with methodology, themes, motifs and inherent qualities of varying classifications of merchandise. Students analyze the store as a branded environment and gain an understanding of the integral role of visual merchandising in that environment. Hands-on work brings presentation concepts into three-dimensional realities, giving students experience with merchandise and presentation tools. Visual merchandising techniques are translated into studio set-ups that include propping, showcase display and mannequin presentation.
