Students are given a broad overview of business organizations and types of ownership and are introduced to the primary functions of management, which include planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling. Dynamic forces impacting the general business environment are studied, as well as the roles of various stakeholders who are affected by a specific company’s performance.
