MNGT 3515 - Strategic ManagementMarketing, Management & Finance Previous Course Number: MNGT 302
This course provides a theoretical and practical framework for studying the way companies identify and develop strategic initiatives, and the implications these decisions have on managers and employees throughout the organization as well as other stakeholder groups. The process of formulating strategic plans, implementing them so as to gain support, and evaluating results so that plans remain current as changes occur internally and externally, is reinforced throughout the course. The extensive use of case studies and examples drawn from current events encourage in-depth analyses of organizations, including company strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
