EECM 480B - Senior Co-opExperiential Education & Career Management Previous Course Number: SENR 401B
The Co-op component in the Senior Semester is designed to expose the student to a significant and broadening full-semester internship experience in the fashion or related industries, usually in an area relevant to the student’s career goals and experience. The Co-op gives students an opportunity to evaluate, appraise and relate actual professional experience to concepts learned in the classroom. At the end of the semester students are evaluated and graded by their supervisor. Additionally, students attend reflective class sessions conducted by their Co-op mentor. Students are also required to declare three internship-related learning objectives and maintain a journal to document how these objectives were achieved. Students must give a presentation highlighting their experiences and achievements and submit this journal for review.
