LANG 1511 - Conversational Spanish IArts & Sciences Previous Course Number: ACOM 271
This course focuses on Hispanic cultural patterns of social and business interactions as a way to help students behave in a culturally appropriate manner. Emphasis is on the verbal application of the Spanish language, especially as it applies to commerce, fashion, and to everyday interactions with Spanish-speaking individuals. The course includes pronunciation, idiomatic expressions, dialogue exchange and group discussions. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): This course is not open to native speakers of Spanish or students who have completed two years of high school Spanish.
