MFTC 330 - Politics and Economy This course introduces the role of government in the dynamic economy of the information age. The focus is on the relationship between the high-tech, information-driven, global economy and political decision-making and regulations. Topics include political issues that may impact students’ lives and futures. Through evaluation of existing policy, students will explain the foundational concepts of public policy, describe the activities and institutions of the policy process, and define the terms and foundation concepts used in the field of public policy.
