Travel Courses

 Please note: Students are required to have a GPA of 3.00 or higher and must be a sophomore level or above in order to be eligible to participate.
 

Cross Cultural Analysis
Students travel abroad during Winter Interssion to several European cities, studying fashion, culture and history of the chosen area. Students have the option to earn 3 credits.

 

Fashion, Business and Culture of China
Students spend three weeks traveling in several cities in China, visiting fashion, cultural and historic sites. This program takes place during the summer semester. Students have option to earn 3 credits.

 
 

Summer Study Abroad Programs

Please note: Students are required to have a GPA of 3.00 in order to be eligible to participate. Students must earn the equivalent of a C or higher in their courses abroad for the credits to be accepted at LIM College.
 

American University of Rome
Students junior level or above are eligible to study for the summer semester at the American University of Rome. Students take up to 6 credits, typically liberal arts electives, while studying in Rome.

 

French Fashion Analysis – Students sophomore level or above are eligible to spend three weeks studying in Paris at Mod’Spe, a French fashion institution. This takes places during the summer semester and students typically earn 3 credits.

 

 

Full Semester Exchange Programs

 Please note: Students are required to have a GPA of 3.00 or higher in order to be eligible to participate and must be a junior level or above at the time of exchange.  Students must earn the equivalent of a C or higher in their courses abroad for the credits to be accepted at LIM College.
 

University of Westminster Exchange Program
Students study for a semester in the Fashion Merchandise Management Program at the University of Westminster in London, England. At Westminster students complete one semester’s worth of courses during the spring semester, which often includes one internship.

 

Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Exchange Program
Students study for a semester at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. Students can take business, fashion or elective courses. At RMIT, students complete one semester’s worth of courses either fall (July through November) or spring (March through June) semester.

 

Institute of European Design Exchange Program
Students study for a semester at the Institute of European Design in one of three campus locations: Barcelona, Spain; Milan, Italy; or Rome, Italy. Students can take business, fashion or elective courses during the spring semester. Students complete one semester’s worth of courses.
