FASH 259 - Fashion Communications in Advertising and Public Relations


Devising and managing an integrated communications strategy and operating at different levels and in different functions will be thoroughly explored. The ability to understand the target market and its requirements, the ability to communicate the qualities of design and the knowledge of technologies and design culture will be covered by lecture and practical hands-on applications. Through planned, co-curricular activities with the advertising and public relations courses, this class further introduces students to the various roles and responsibilities of a fashion advertising, marketing, or media professional.
