ACOM 261 - Modern Drama

This course is designed to help students develop an understanding and appreciation of modern drama as an art form and as entertainment. The plays studied represent a variety of dramatic approaches. They will be studied in terms of plot structure, quality of characterization, and beauty and efficiency of language. The course will include a supplementary assignment of attending a play on Broadway, off-Broadway, and/or video.
