ACOM 236 - Current Affairs

This course considers some of the many problems facing our civilization today as reported and reflected in the media. Students read and research both domestic and international events and learn to critically evaluate their impact on our lives. The role of media as disseminator and arbiter is examined.

Prerequisite: Writing Essentials or successful placement into English Composition
