ACOM 130 - Professional Communications Professional Communications combines the elements of effective writing and speaking to help students further develop their communication skills. The course emphasizes format, organization, development, mechanics, and documentation in business writing of letters, memos, and a short report. The course also stresses media presentation skills and more sophisticated approaches utilizing persuasion in public speaking. Additionally, students develop employment interview skills through role-playing as well as learn proper etiquette for conducting business meetings.
