MFTC 214 - Business Calculus I This course is designed to establish a foundation in calculus and its applications in the business world. Topics to be discussed include functions, limits, derivatives of functions, theory of maxima and minima, antiderivatives, integration of function, optimization problems, related rates, and Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. This course has a computer laboratory component. MAPLE, a world-leading algebra computing software, will be used to aid students visualize various concepts developed in class.
