2023-2024 College Catalog [ARCHIVED CATALOG]
Immunization
New York State Public Health Law 2165 requires all students born on or after January 1, 1957 who register for six or more on campus credits and/or reside in College housing to prove immunity to measles, mumps and rubella. A meningococcal vaccine is recommended, but not required, for college students. Eligible students must provide documentation showing immunity to measles, mumps and rubella and a response regarding their meningococcal vaccination status to the Office of Counseling Services two weeks prior to the start of their first semester. Regardless of class standing, a student who fails to provide proof prior to 30 days after classes start will lose access to College facilities, be administratively withdrawn from in-person classes and required to vacate College housing. Please see the Office of Counseling Services for more information and/or forms.
