Failures

If a student earns a grade of F in any required course, they must successfully repeat the course. Failure to repeat the course the next time it is offered at the College, may have a detrimental impact on a student’s GPA and academic standing. A student can only repeat each failed course one time. Students who receive a total of three Fs will be dismissed from the College.
In any course in which the student’s original grade is lower than a B, they may repeat the course once if pre-approved by the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs or designee. Pre-approval is at the discretion of the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs or designee. To obtain the form to repeat a course, please contact the Office of the Registrar.
If the student successfully repeats the course, the original grade will remain on the student’s transcript. However, only the repeated grade will be used in the calculation of the GPA.
