Undergraduate Award for Outstanding Scholarship / Valedictorian
Awarded to a bachelor’s degree graduate according to the following criteria:
• Academic achievement
• Service to LIM College
• Service to the industry
• Student’s willingness to serve as Valedictorian
Recipients are required to have earned a minimum of 70% of their degree credits at LIM College and have completed the degree program within the prescribed time frame.
Award for Dedicated Service to LIM College
Awarded to an undergraduate student who has given significant time and energy to LIM College as a volunteer
Associate Degree Award for Outstanding Scholarship
Awarded to the associate degree graduate with the highest GPA who has completed his or her program within the prescribed time frame
Industry Awards
Awards granted to undergraduate students for accomplishments in the areas noted below. These awards are sponsored by companies in the fashion industry.
Fashion Merchandising
Management
Marketing
Senior Co-op
Visual Merchandising
Internship
Bachelor’s Latin Honors
Summa Cum Laude: 3.85 and higher cumulative GPA
Magna Cum Laude: 3.70 to 3.84 cumulative GPA
Cum Laude: 3.50 to 3.69 cumulative GPA
Any student who has been involved in an academic dishonesty incident is not eligible for any Commencement honor or award.
Only students who have submitted a completed Application for Graduation by the due date will be eligible for Commencement awards.
Final determination of honors is only available after a student’s last semester final grades have been certified. |
