Remedial Course Policy

Remedial English

All Degrees
Successful completion of English remediation must be completed within the first year at LIM College. Failure to meet this requirement will result in academic dismissal. Failing a remedial English course will result in automatic academic probation. Students repeating a remedial English course and/or completing English remediation must do so in consecutive semesters.

Remedial Math

B.B.A. and A.A.S. Degrees
Successful completion of mathematics remediation must be completed within the first year at LIM College. Failure to meet this requirement will result in academic dismissal. Failing a remedial math course will result in automatic academic probation. Students repeating a remedial math course and/or completing math remediation must do so in consecutive semesters.

B.P.S. and A.O.S. Degrees
Successful completion of mathematics remediation must be completed within the first two years at LIM College. Three failure attempts (Failure or Withdrawal) in the remedial math program will result in automatic academic probation. Students repeating a remedial math course and/or completing math remediation must do so in consecutive semesters. A fourth failure attempt (Failure or Withdrawal) in the remedial math program will result in academic dismissal.
