FASH 3517 - Store Operations for Buying

This course will develop the supervisory skills necessary for the retail industry. Students will learn how retail stores operate from scheduling to recruitment, personnel selection, team work, utilization and development of human resources. Role playing will be incorporated in order to train the students as managers for store line or buying line to further their success in the industry. Executives from local stores will discuss how their store operates and how they hire associates.
