Immunization

New York State Public Health Law 2165 requires all students born on or after January 1, 1957 who register for six or more credits to prove immunity to measles, mumps and rubella. A meningococcal vaccine is recommended, but not required, for college students. Regardless of class standing, a student who fails to provide proof prior to 30 days after classes start will be administratively withdrawn from classes and required to vacate campus.
