The Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in The Business of Fashion allows students, with previous fashion industry experience, the ability to build their own degree, tailoring their course of study to meet their individual needs and goals. Working under the direction of a graduate advisor, students in the program choose courses from among LIM’s current MPS programs in Fashion Merchandising & Retail Management, Fashion Marketing, Global Fashion Supply Chain Management, and other existing MPS elective courses. Students with an undergraduate major in a fashion related field plus 2 years of post-graduate fashion industry experience OR students with a minimum of 5 years post graduate fashion industry experience are eligible to apply for this degree. All students in the program will be required to complete MPSX 700 Influencing Organizations or MPSB 608 Internship in The Business of Fashion; at minimum one course covering global issues in the fashion industry; and MPSB 609 Capstone in The Business of Fashion.
