The two-year Associate in Occupational Studies (AOS) in Fashion Merchandising degree program offers a curriculum that meets the business requirements of the fashion and related industries with an emphasis on skills that will set you apart.

This highly-specialized, information-intensive academic program is intended as a terminal degree, providing you with the background you need to begin your career immediately.

The AOS curriculum requires 67/68 credits. In this program students may replace 12 credits of liberal arts with 12 credits of professional electives.

For all associate degree students, the final 33 credits must be completed at LIM College, including one Work Project.

The last consecutive 33 credits must be completed at LIM College in order to fulfill the residency requirement (including one Work Project).

All entering students prior academic records are evaluated to determine Math and English capabilities. This includes SAT and/or ACT math and writing results and results of English and math courses taken at other colleges. See the LIM College website for current criteria. This information is used when planning a student’s academic program, which may include required remedial Math and/or English courses.
