BUSN 3310 - Business LawBusiness Department The purpose of the Business Law course is to provide students with an understanding of the laws applicable to the business world. This course covers the regulation of business organizations and their activities by the government. A thorough understanding of the legal and regulatory environment is gained through the study of common law, statutes, regulations, and cases that have a significant influence on business organization and the influence of managerial decision- making process. Students learn specific applications of the law in areas such as criminal law, constitutional law, contracts, product liability, agency, property rights, intellectual property, and e-commerce.
