ENGL 2327 - Modern Poetry Arts & Sciences This course surveys the diverse poets, poetic forms, themes, techniques and sensibilities that we have come to designate as “modern.” Students study the poetry of Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Wallace Stevens, T.S. Eliot, Elizabeth Bishop, Robert Lowell, and other English-language poets of the 19th and 20th centuries. Students are expected to attend at least one poetry reading outside of LIM College. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1100
