NTSC 2202 - Sustainability Past and Present Arts & Sciences Sustainability has been defined as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the future.” In this course we will investigate the origins of sustainability and how sustainability is practiced today. We will look at how global trends and policies have altered the way we think, how we act, and what we buy. Together we will endeavor to investigate a variety of approaches to sustainable behavior and to use the course as a framework for potential change. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1055 or ENGL 1060 or ENGL 1095 or ENGL 1100
