CARE 1890 - Micro-Internship (Optional)

Students will sometimes find an amazing internship opportunity outside of their normal course sequence for which the employer requires the student to earn credit. Or an employer may need work done on-demand and want an LIM student to complete a short-term professional assignment or project. This course exists to help students take advantage of these experiences to demonstrate their abilities while building their portfolio and earning elective academic credit. A student must complete a minimum total number of hours of work to earn credit; however, these hours can be earned through multiple projects or with a single experience. This course does not replace one of the required internship courses (Internship 1, Internship 2, or Senior Co-op), nor can it be taken at the same time as a required internship course.
