VIST 3310 - Technology for Visual Communication

Visual Studies
This course focuses on digital communication for specialized visual projects in creative industries. Students will use Adobe InDesign to compile comprehensive directives for real world execution, as well as other Adobe Creative Cloud applications to design planograms and various creative spaces. Sketchup will be introduced and applied towards specific industry projects, such as developing fixtures and display drawings for production. Students will move through steps from ideation to digital renderings to compiling concepts into professional presentation formats. “Instagram moments” and other social media platforms will be included as a vital component of current visual communication.
