ARTS 2216 - Modern Art Arts & Sciences This course develops students’ understanding of American and European art of the 19th and 20th centuries. Students focus on works that have changed viewing experiences and the visual world of the 20th century. The class will view and discuss works in the areas of Impressionism, Cubism, Dadaism, Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1055 or ENGL 1060 or ENGL 1095 or ENGL 1100
