STSA 2410 - Liberal Arts International Arts & Sciences This course covers Italian Art from the Ancient through Baroque periods, with a focus on the rebirth and revolution of the Renaissance. Artworks studied will include painting, sculpture, architecture and decorative arts that either originated in or are on permanent display in Florence. The course will include field trips to major museums, architectural landmarks and other cultural sites. Stylistic characteristics of each period will be emphasized, as they relate to the social, political and cultural context in which the works were made. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1100, ENGL 1105 or COMM 2010
