The purpose of the Business Law course is to provide students with an understanding of the reason for laws applicable to the business world. Honors Business Law emphasizes the application of the legal system to specific business relationships and transactions. This course will emphasize the legal processes involving the legal organization and agency of business and the establishment and enforcement of business rights. A thorough understanding of the legal and regulatory environment is gained through the study of common law, statutes, regulations, and cases that have a significant influence on business organization and the influence of managerial decision making process.
