FASH 3517 - Store Operations for Buying Fashion Merchandising This course will develop the supervisory skills necessary for the retail industry. Students will learn how retail stores operate, from scheduling to recruitment, personnel selection, teamwork, and the utilization and development of human resources. Role-playing will be incorporated in order to prepare the students as managers (for store line or buying line) and advance their careers in the industry. Executives from local stores will discuss how their store operates and how they hire associates. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): FASH 1210, FASH 2560, MNGT 2310
